Dear friends and fans-
I have been receiving quite a few emails asking for upcoming show and event details
As well as people asking- hey where'd you go?
No I didn't fly south for the winter! {and yes someone asked me that}
I have gone back to my roots, the basics, the fundamentals of music
Feeling lost?
Well I began to take classical voice lessons, after a 4 year hiatus, with the brilliant Patrice Barnes.
I have been fa-la-la'ing German opera pieces to songs fit for a queen as well as doing loads of boring music theory
I have ventured out of my usual comfort zone, but all for good reasons!
I plan on doing my Grade 8 vocal exam in August, which fingers crossed, goes amazingly well.
Why did I choose to do this you might ask?
I want to be a great musician and that means knowing more then just how to write lyrics that make people happy or sad!

But don't fret! I am not gone forever
I recently have found my mind wandering to my passion for writing music that comes from my soul.
I played piano for the first time in three months a few days ago and I didn't want to stop, it felt so natural.
So, I have decided no more hiatus!
DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN!
While I may not have time to do shows or release a new CD just yet...
I do have time to post videos of new songs!
This includes the video for "I Lied" off of my first album- but a newer remixed version featuring a very special guest!
And songs you lovely bird watchers haven't even heard!
I hope you all stay posted on this new journey of mine.
I promise it will be exciting as ever!
